Singapore Investors Target Australian Commercial Property
Singaporean investors have had the most interest in the Australian commercial property market (for transactions above $10 million) in the past 12 months, sinking in more than US$4.3 billion, according to Real Capital Analytics.
The Australian commercial property market also received US$1.9 billion from US investors and US$1.4 billion from Canada-based buyers.
In recent years, China has taken a back step in terms of its level of investment in Australian property. RCA noted that Chinese investors have only put in US$222 million this year through August, as trade relations between the two countries continue to hamper deal flow.
